Glad you had a great trip.   I would love some warm rain that is one of my favorite weather patterns.  Throw in some gambling and look out.  Not much going on around here, cleaning and errands for today.

Nothing much going on in my world (I have SO got to change that) but other then that!!  Time for coffee =)

I MISS THE BED...I MISS THE SHEETS....I MISS THE PILLOWS....I MISS SLEEPING IN.  OK, that's better and yes we are home and yes I'd rather still be back in Vegas.  We had a terrific weekend.  As you said Lu, the weather could have cooperated more, but on the bright side, it wasn't very hot there at all.  It was actually very comfortable outside.  And let's not forget the damage I did at the Sephora store.  OMG, I love my makeup. LOL And the show Mystere was just a special treat.  That is a good show.

Told Mike all about Freemont Street and the Golden Nugget and we are going to go there on our next trip.  That place is amazing and there is definitely a more party atmosphere down there on Freemont Street.  Plus with the big Harley store there, my honey will be in "hog" heaven.  BTW, Lu, Mike absolutely adored the picture of us on the Harley.  He said he will get it scanned and sent to you.  We should try to get a group together to go to Vegas and stay down there.  That would be so much fun. He also loved the shirts I got him although the lighter color one is a tad bit tight, but he says it will just give him incentive.  The other shirt fit him perfectly and he wore it to work today. 

After I got home yesterday and then Mike got home, we ran out for some dinner then came back and apparently the 5 new little kittens have decided to further their horizons and were all over the neighborhood.  Being that most of them are blind, all my neighbors were quite upset because kittens were sitting at various doors meowing.  LOL  I thought it was pretty funny.  Anyway, we did our little roundup and then spent about 30 minutes playing doctor cleaning up their eyes.  They looked much better once I got through with them. 

Then I was in bed by 9PM.  Didn't need that sleeping pill last night so I will save it for another night for sure.  Now it is back to the grindstone.  2 full days of work for me.  Of course I think I'd rather have to work the whole week then deal with Thursday and Friday.  Yuck. 

OK, time to get busy here.  Lu, thanks again for making this such a fun weekend for me.  It wouldn't have been nearly as good having gone with anyone else. Hope everyone has a great day and remember......do something wonderful for yourself.

Lu- I am so glad you and Steph had a wonderful time in Vegas.  Glad that you are both back home safe. 

Not much going on with me.  I recieved a big check last week , so I am playing the waiting game with the bank for it to clear so that I can take care of a little business.
Other than that, I have a lot of work to do here so, I will wrap this up and call it a day.

Welcome home Lu and Steph.  SO where did you guys stay.  Dougie and I fell in love with the beds at the Belliago.  OMG, we got in there and snuggled all up under the comforter and took a nap, that was the first thing we did when we went there.  It was a few years back and we got the rooms for $99 a night, and I tipped the person at the front desk and asked for a view of the front of the hotel to watch the waters, and she gave us one.  It was a great week.  As soon as I get back on my feet, we are going to start to travel again.

Stacie, I hope you get to feeling better.  All this scare about the swine flu that they are talking about, every company should be giving people who come to work sick, time off with pay and let them stay home till they are well.  I hope you feel better soon!

Barb, GOOD LUCK!!! I have a feeling by the end of the week, you are going to be among the working force!!  I too, can't wait to see what happens.

OK, not going to write a hardback book today, This will just be a short column.  You all know what I am doing today, NOTHING.  May you all have the bestest of days.  The day after tomorrow is Thursday, and that is right before Friday, so the week is close to being over!!!  HA!

We stayed at Treasure Island.  We got into the room and each sat down our bed and were like, we don't need to go anywhere else this weekend.  The sheets, comforter and pillows were to die for.  We really were trying to figure out how we could steal them, but alas our consciences wouldn't let us.  Sometimes being honest just sucks.  LOL

We went down to Freemont Street though and the Golden Nugget is just gorgeous.  We both want to stay there and from the description of some of the rooms they are just as plus as what you can get on the strip for alot more money.  And Freemont Street is just such a fun place to be in the evening.

Hope you are feeling better everyday.  Remember, let me know when you are ready to do coffee.  I'm just waiting for your say so to set something up.  Will have to be on a Sunday though because I start this years tax course on September 5th.  I'm thinking maybe something either September 13, 20 or 27.  Let me know if you think you'll be up for any of those.

After my doctors appt this Thursday I will let you know.  I don't think the end of the month is good, that is the Long Beach coffee.....maybe the 20th would be good, but I will let you know for sure on Monday, just remind this old lady!

I love Treasure Island, did you go to the bar where they give you free drinks all the time?  We love it there, and last time, Dougie hit big money on some dang penny machine.  That was odd, because usually we just leave them our bank account.

I think the economy is effecting everything.  There was nothing for free. Even ****tail waitresses in the casinos were few and far between and the couple of drinks we were able to snag, we think they just passed the glass in front of the vodka bottle cause there sure didn't seem to be anything in them.   They did offer, however and we did take advantage of 1/2 price tickets on Mystere Saturday night.  We had terrific seats and it was a really good show.  It wasn't Barry or Bette but it was still good.

Good Luck at the doctor.  I have some medical stuff this week myself and I'm not looking forward to it one bit.  But I've got to do what I've got to do.  You just let me know what Sunday coffee is good for you and we'll set something up.

Thanks very much.  I will go to the 2nd interview for the hospital on Wed of next week and I am fairly confident that I will be called back for a 2nd interview with AAA as well.  So maybe not this week but maybe next week!  I'm sayin' my Hail Marys and Our Fathers!
